Good morning I was wondering what sort of activities the church may offer to Japanese speaking seniors? My mother and father-in law are visiting us until October and we are interested in them socializing with others their age in vsrious Japanese activities. We are also looking at the JCCC as well for elactivities. We would like to bring them to a service on a Sunday also but are not sure how they would respond seeing that they do not follow Christianity but Buddism in Japan. It may not make any sense to them? In any case your response will be appreciated in any event.

Sorry that I did not see your question earlier as we do not normally monitor questions using this process. However. Bayview United Church is primarily English-speaking, with one a month Japanese language services on the first Sunday of the month 1 pm. I hope you found activities for your parents-in-law at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre or the Toronto Buddhist Church.
